Music Tuesday - John Waller

This week, I'm not reviewing an album, but one song that I really enjoy. The song is "The Blessing" by John Waller. I believe this song had some radio airplay, but I actually first heard it on youtube. You can check out the song on Rhapsody - remember you get 25 free plays per month.

I first found this song while doing some research for the Bless Back Series. It was very moving, the idea that we can choose blessing or cursing. Let us choose life. Let us choose blessing. Not a choice to be blessed, but to bless others.

The Scripture is Deuteronomy 30:19...


This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

I also like hearing Mark Hall's voice from Casting Crowns on this recording as well.
